Latvian flag carrier airBaltic has announced plans to increase number of flights between Vilnius and Riga from 34 weekly flights to 39 flights a week. Additionally, the route connecting Vilnius to Tallinn will see frequencies increase from 11 flights a week to 16 flights a week during summer 2020 season.
AirBaltic CEO Martin Gauss said: “As the only carrier operating flights between all three Baltic capitals, we are proud to further strengthen the links between Vilnius, Riga and Tallinn. We are committed to all three Baltic countries and will continue to provide the best possible access to the region.”
AirBaltic is also set to commence services from Riga to Manchester (United Kingdom), Bergen (Norway), Trondheim (Norway) and Yerevan (Armenia) at the start of summer season 2020.
Flights from Riga to Manchester start on March 29, 2020, to Bergen on 31st of March 2020, to Trondheim on 1st of April 2020 and to the Armenian capital, Yerevan on 3rd of May 2020.
