British leisure carrier Jet2.com has been named the UK’s best low cost carrier during the Travellers' Choice Awards earlier today.
Not only that, but Jet2 has remarkably been able to proudly hold the title of the 9th best rated airline in the world, something no other UK-based airline has been able to achieve.
"The awards are living proof that our investment in customer service is working, because they are based on the experiences of paying customers," said Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays.
Jet2’s awards didn’t stop there, achieving the best economy class in Europe award and best low cost airline in Europe award. However, Virgin Atlantic was able to claim the title of Europe’s best major airline.
The best airline in the world is Singapore Airlines, according to the Travellers’ Choice Awards.
