Chinese carrier Juneyao Air is expanding rapidly. The airline has a large fleet, including 787s which feature special liveries, that fly around the world; including to Europe.
The Europe-China aviation market is extremely lucrative and Juneyao Airlines does not want to miss out.
Juneyao Air has a fleet of 72 aircraft, including 6 Boeing 787-9s and 64 Airbus A320 family jets.
The airline recently took delivery of its sixth 787-9 on order (leaving 4 more on order), paving the way for further expansion and service changes.
The airline has had a keen focus on flights to Europe, having recently announced flights to Manchester via Helsinki from Shanghai Pudong.
The airline has also announced flights to Athens effective June 2020.
At the moment, Juneyao only operates one flight to Europe, from Shanghai to Helsinki.
While fairly unknown to the outside world, Juneyao Air is a growing name and its expansion plans are extremely exciting.
The Chinese airline carried 16 million passengers during the January to September period this year, a 16% rise compared to the same period last year.
