Air Canada To Commence Year-Round Montreal-Toulouse Route
Air Canada on August 28, 2019 announced a non-stop, year-round service between Montreal and Toulouse, set to commence on June 4, 2020. The route will be served five times weekly aboard a 292-seater A330-300 in a four-class layout.
According to President and Chief Executive Officer of Air Canada, Calvin Rovinescu, the route is of particular significance as it offers opportunities to accelerate synergies between two leading aerospace industry hubs, in addition to exposing the rich cultures both cities have to offer.

Air New Zealand To Increase Flights To Taipei
Air New Zealand will increase the frequency of its Auckland - Taipei Taoyuan route to 4 times weekly, up from the current 3 times during the same period. This will be effective April 5, 2020 and will last until April 26, 2020.

EL AL To Open Reservations To New European Destinations
EL AL Israel Airlines is set to commence sales on September 4, 2019 to its previously unveiled routes to Europe. The airline will begin operations on the Tel Aviv - Dublin route on May 26, 2020 and the Tel Aviv - Dusseldorf on June 1, 2020. Both routes will be served three times weekly aboard a Boeing 737 in a dual-class configuration.
This past week, EL AL also commenced sales for the previously announced Tel Aviv - Tokyo Narita route, which will begin operations on March 11, 2020 aboard a Boeing 787-8/9.

FlyBosnia Gears Up For London
FlyBosnia, a new carrier based in Bosnia and Herzegovina, has announced plans to commence flights to London Luton Airport from its hub at Sarajevo International Airport beginning September 24, 2019. The route will be served three times weekly, with plans to increase the frequency to a daily service within 12 months of commencement. Flights will be operated aboard an A319. Uganda Airlines Takes To The Skies
Uganda Airlines took to the skies for its inaugural promotion flight after an 18 year absence. The airline's new CRJ900 aircraft departed its Entebbe International Airport hub on August 27, 2019, amid a colourful ceremony presided over by Ugandan Prime Minister Dr. Ruhakana Rugunda. It then arrived at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to a water salute and reception by Ugandan Diplomatic Corps in Kenya and high-ranking Kenyan officials. However, its first revenue flight plied the same route on August 28, 2019.
In what was a big week for the airline, flights to Juba International Airport (South Sudan) commenced on August 28, 2019, and to Aden Adde International Airport (Mogadishu, Somalia) and Julius Nyerere International Airport (Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania) on August 29, 2019.
