Skytrax Award, World's Top 10 Airlines of 2019

Skytrax announced the best airlines of 2019 at the Paris Air Show earlier this month. Skytrax is a rating agency recognized by airlines worldwide.


The following is a list of all the best airlines worldwide.


1. Qatar Airways

Qatar Airways serves over 140 destinations worldwide, offering excellent levels of service which helped the award-winning carrier to become best in the world.

2. Singapore Airlines

Singapore Airlines is one of the most reputable Airlines in the entire world. Singapore Airlines flies one of the youngest Aircraft fleet in the world, flying to destinations all over the world. The Singapore Girl (Singapore Airlines' flight attendants) is an internationally recognizable icon of the airlines who provide high standards of care and service that customers expect from Singapore Airlines.

3. All Nippon Airways (ANA)

ANA is the largest airline in Japan. ANA is a member of Star Alliance and flies to about 80 international destinations and also operates on about 100 domestic routes. ANA is also the launch customer and the biggest operator of the Boeing 787. ANA will have a fleet of 83 Boeing 787 when it takes delivery of all their 787 jets on order. ANA is also one of the only airlines that operates all 3 variants of the Boeing 787.

4. Cathay Pacific Airways

Cathay Pacific is the founder and member of the One World Alliance. Cathay Pacific has a subsidiary, Cathay Dragon.

5. Emirates

Emirates is one of the youngest airlines in the world. Emirates started its operations with only two aircraft but before long, has expanded, with a fleet of over 230 aircraft, flying to over 140 destinations in more than 80 countries around the world. Emirates currently only operate 2 different aircraft types, the Boeing 777 and the Airbus A380. Emirates is the largest operator of both the Boeing 777 and the Airbus A380.

6. EVA Air

EVA Air is a Taiwanese Airline with its hub at Taipei Taoyuan International Airport. EVA serves a global network that connects Asia and China to Europe and North America and Oceania. EVA Air is known for its Hello Kitty Themed Airliner, a Boeing 777 bearing the registration B-16722.

7. Hainan Airlines

8. Qantas Airways

9. Lufthansa

Lufthansa is the largest airline in Germany and is one of the five founding members of Star Alliance. Lufthansa operates flights out of Frankfurt Airport, its primary hub, and Munich Airport, its secondary hub. Lufthansa has an enormous fleet of over 250 Aircraft, flying to over 200 destinations.

10. Thai Airways
